Cognitive LayerPerception, understanding, and reasoning
Integrates visual, audio, and environmental information to support AI-driven situational understanding and decision-making.
Cognitive Robotics
We envision a software platform that brings together AI, robotics, and cognitive technologies to expand human potential.
Designed for shared spaces
One intelligence. Many possibilities.
One shared intelligence platform.
Robots with different roles.
Indoor security robots that help keep people safe. AI pets that share our everyday lives. And SignalX, a cognitive compression assistant that finds what matters in vast amounts of information.
We rethink robots as extensible systems that combine intelligence with physical form, rather than as standalone machines.
01 — Platform
Traditionally, developing a robot has meant integrating hardware, control systems, and perception technologies specific to each machine.
We aim to change that.
Our approach separates intelligence, behavior, and physical control into a reusable software architecture.
Building on the hardware independence pursued by Sony’s OPEN-R, we aim to use modern ROS 2 and AI technologies to make shared capabilities available across different robot bodies and applications.
Integrates visual, audio, and environmental information to support AI-driven situational understanding and decision-making.
Combines movement, conversation, exploration, and monitoring as reusable skills.
Provides a common interface for the capabilities of different robot bodies, including wheels, legs, arms, and sensors.
Uses established robotics technologies, including ROS 2, to enable motion control, perception, and autonomous navigation.
Reusing shared intelligence and behavior technologies can reduce the need to start from scratch for each application and shorten the development cycle for new robots.
That is the vision behind our platform.
02 — Robotics
The role of robots extends beyond automating simple tasks.
Reducing human workloads. Understanding their surroundings. Building lasting relationships with people.
We aim to develop robots for different purposes on a shared platform.

01 / Utility
An autonomous mobile robot designed to support indoor patrols, environmental perception, and anomaly detection.
By combining environmental understanding through cameras and other sensors with autonomous navigation and remote collaboration, it is intended to complement human security teams.
We are exploring applications in a range of indoor environments, including offices, commercial facilities, and public buildings.

02 / Companionship
Throughout their shared history, humans and dogs have built relationships that complement one another’s abilities.
We believe pet robots in the age of AI offer the possibility of a new kind of partnership.
Recognizing people, engaging in conversation, and building shared experiences over time.
Quietly supporting everyday life and helping people make sense of information.
Our goal is a new kind of companion robot that complements human cognitive abilities, going beyond the roles of a robotic pet or a voice assistant.
More Than a Pet. A Partner.
03 — SignalX
The challenge today is not a lack of information.
It is the abundance of information, and the growing difficulty of identifying what matters.
SignalX is a cognitive compression assistant designed to extract important patterns and changes from vast amounts of information, supporting human understanding and decision-making.
Research into SignalX began with the analysis of financial markets.
Stock prices, trading volumes, news, statements by influential figures, and the flow of information across global markets.
Through statistical validation, we seek meaningful relationships among phenomena that may appear complex and unrelated.
Our aim goes beyond summarizing information: to make it easier to understand what happened, what changed, and how much has been verified.
Collect information from markets, news, and the wider environment.
Analyze changes, relationships, information flows, and anomalies.
Test hypotheses against data and distinguish facts from assumptions.
Present complex information clearly while preserving its significance and supporting evidence.
The potential of SignalX’s cognitive compression technology extends beyond a desktop analysis assistant.
By connecting with robots, it could evolve into a new interface that alerts people to changes, explains them when needed, and supports understanding.
AI with a physical presence. AI that makes sense of a complex world.
Bringing the two together is one of the themes we are exploring.
04 — Our Approach
AI models, robotic components, open-source software, and computing infrastructure.
Technologies once available only to highly specialized organizations are becoming shared foundations that anyone can combine.
We do not aim to develop everything ourselves.
We understand existing technologies, select the capabilities we need, and integrate them thoughtfully.
This allows us to focus our development resources on creating experiences that bring real value to people.
A small team. Ambitious challenges.
Our development philosophy brings together software, AI, robotics, and an understanding of people.
05 — Vision
The human body has limits.
So does the amount of information we can understand and use to make decisions.
Robotics extends our physical capabilities. AI extends our cognitive capabilities.
Our goal is to bring the two together.
Not to think in our place, but to help us think more deeply.
Not to live in our place, but to help us live more fully.
Supporting our work, sharing our lives, and deepening our understanding of the world.
Intelligence that
works with humans.
Toward a new future of robotics that evolves alongside humanity.
We are currently advancing research and development concepts for a shared robotics platform, indoor security robots, AI companion robots, and SignalX.
We welcome collaboration with companies, research institutions, and partners interested in technology development, pilot projects, and business partnerships.
